At first glance it would be remarkably easy to confuse the Flirc unit with an actual thumb drive as the clear case. Its basically a universal IR receiver, so can be used with any remote you. Just walk through the super simple setup - pairing individual remote buttons with Media Centre Buttons and youre done. To program the Flirc dongle youll need a computer, a copy of the Flirc software (cross-platform and available here), and the remote you wish to map to the Flirc. This does in fact works with switchbot if you set the switchbot hub as a fireTV ir blaster and set the flirc as a fireTV receiver. ![]()
